AT&T Fairfield Data Center
Arc flash study with site visits in 2019 gathering system information on more than 800 buses. The electrical distribution system was modeled in EasyPower to perform the required engineering studies.
AT&T Winton Data Center
Arc flash study with site visits in 2018. A highly complex distribution system of more than 1,000 buses covering UPS systems, PDUs, MCCs, switchgear, switchboards, panelboards, individual motors, and generators.
Vantage Data Centers
Arc flash studies at the Vantage Data Centers campuses in Santa Clara, California and Quincy, Washington. Hyperscale colocation environments: utility service, generator plants, UPS systems, PDUs, and distribution down to the white space.

Multi-site programs
PG&E — 94 facilities
Arc flash studies across 94 facilities with panel counts ranging from 20 to 300 each, completed over two years as a sub-project of a large generator resiliency electrical design program.
The sites were divided into six groups served by six different electrical contractors, spread across California. Because return visits would have been impractical, the data collection effort had to be thorough the first time — which meant briefing each contractor on precisely what information was needed and reviewing everything that came back. The system model was then built from a combination of site data, as-builts, and shop drawings.
Short circuit, coordination, and arc flash calculations were developed, with equipment evaluation, coordination recommendations, and arc flash mitigation recommendations documented and walked through with the customer. After approval, labels were printed and installed on the equipment.
PG&E Hilltop projects
Arc flash studies at remote mountain locations. Phase one covered 24 sites, completed in 2021. Phase two covered 17 sites, completed in November 2023.
Los Angeles Sanitation District — Joint Water Pollution Control Plant
Lead electrical engineer on a comprehensive arc flash study spanning 13 sites, including site visits, data collection, system modeling, and label installation.
NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center
Arc flash study at the Neil A. Armstrong Flight Research Center and Edwards Air Force Base, completed July 2022.
Electrical safety training
LAX — arc flash and electrical safety training
Six training sessions delivered to 30 students. Eight-hour sessions for employees with no prior arc flash training and four-hour refreshers for annual requalification. Content covered NFPA 70E, proper selection of PPE, proper installation of PPE, and hands-on lockout/tagout procedures.
James Hardie — Zero Harm training
Training delivered to 500 students in electrical safety and arc flash awareness, coordinated with the James Hardie safety department. Content drew on NFPA 70E alongside site-specific electrical safety policies.
Phase Engineering
Contracts held and performed under the Phase Engineering name.
USDA National Animal Disease Center — Ames, Iowa
Arc flash study at the USDA National Animal Disease Center, currently in progress. Phase Engineering holds the contract as prime, and the report is sealed by a California licensed Professional Engineer.
