Service equipment at other than dwelling units must be field marked with the maximum available fault current and the date of the calculation — and that marking must be verified or recalculated when modifications affect it.

Digesters and on-site generation

Dairy digesters producing power from methane have added a category of electrical work that did not exist in this county fifteen years ago. Generation tied into an existing plant distribution system changes fault current contribution, requires coordination between the generator protection and the plant's existing devices, and introduces utility interconnection requirements.
